Gator Grip is a family owned and operated safety surfacing company, employing

Gator Grip rubber
is a poured-in-place mix of top-of-the-line virgin EPDM rubber granules
mixed with Aliphatic Urethane to produce a vibrant, slip resistant, impact
absorbing and durable-as-rock surface. Because Gator Grip is poured in
place, it allows uneven areas to be leveled and depressions to be filled
in. Most commonly applied around pool decks, spas and cracked old concrete,
it can be installed over most surfaces including concrete, stone, wood,
epoxy finishes, tile, brick, asphalt and steel. Gator Grip can be applied
both residentially and commercially. Installation normally takes just
a day and the surface can be walked on again within 24-48 hours.
Gator Grip is comfortable
to walk on with bare feet even on the hottest summer day and is anti-fungal,
antibacterial and UV resistant, making Gator Grip an easy outdoor or indoor
solution. Gator Grip is a low maintenance product and requires no annual
sealing. It maintains its original crystal clear appearance over long periods
of time even in the most extreme weather, expanding and contracting with
changes in temperature. And because it is a seamless application, grass
and weeds won't grow through it and bugs and pests can't burrow into it.
Gator Grip Safety Surfacing, Inc. uses the highest quality rubber
and binder in our premium rubber systems to produce a crystal clear
finish with brilliance, beauty, and longevity in mind. For instance,
while others use a more economical MDI urethane that is prone to "yellowing",
or SBR rubber granules (recycled rubber tires which can emit oils
and other contaminants when used as a top coat),
Gator Grip
uses only the best products for binders and
top coats to eliminate any hassles or complications. We
carry this philosophy throughout our service and product line. For
those cases where recycled
alternatives are desired, we have a recycled rubber surfacing system
known as "Pre Cycled EPDM", which is recycled rubber from such sources
as unused athletic shoe soles which is then dyed.
